Raised in Southern California and educated at the University of Colorado and the University of Wyoming Law School, Brad McKim was a lawyer for thirty years while living in Colorado, Texas, Alaska and London, England where he concluded his career as General Counsel for BP’s worldwide Exploration and Production operations. Through his work and his love for travel, he has visited all 50 states and over 80 countries. In 2015 he left the practice of law to become an arbitrator and to pursue other interests including his lifelong enthusiasm for presidential history. Brad’s two books, A Presidents Story (2018) and A Presidents Story Too (2024), are the result. Brad’s other passions include fly fishing and songwriting.
